J. Donovan Whibbs
In 2012, Donovan was selected by Florida Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star,” an honor extended to only two and a half percent of Florida lawyers each year. Donovan Whibbs received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in 1994. In 1997, he received his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where he was Associate Editor for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. He is a member of both the Florida and Alabama Bars. Mr. Whibbs is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Florida Bar, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers and the Escambia-Santa Rosa County Bar Association.
For almost 30 years Donovan has been handling personal injury cases representing injured victims and their families receive fair and just compensation they deserved for their injuries. During his tenure he has handled literally 1000’s of injury claims receiving 10’s of millions of dollars in settlements and awards. His legal practice focuses primarily on workers’ compensation claims and serious personal injury cases. Workers’ compensation is a specialized area of the law practiced successfully by just a handful of attorneys. Donovan is a highly skilled and knowledgeable attorney with a passion for winning. Donovan also has extensive trial experience handling all types of personal injury cases which makes him a formidable foe when dealing with insurance companies and their legal representatives.
