Oil spill update

Families on the Gulf Coast have lived and breathed the BP Oil Spill since the April 20, 2010 rig accident killed (11) workers and spilled millions of gallons of oil  before being capped.

After much political pressure, the new claims process seems to be operating more smoothly than it has over the past two years.

The latest reports indicate that Patrick Juneau and his staff have issued in excess of $1.43 billion dollars in payments since the announcement of settlement last year.

Roughly $400 million in claims have been paid by Juneau’s team which were inherited from Feinberg’s Gulf Coast Claims Facility.

Richard Turner at Whibbs Stone Barnett Turner, PA has represented hundreds of individuals and businesses on the Gulf Coast with their BP claims.  In many cases, we have been able to help business and individuals recover who had no idea that they had a claim.
